Babtised at last!

Hello!

I'm at starbucks again (:

With BO and ulin (:

I'm totally making my time productively... NOT.

Nonetheless, I'm at starbucks now at TANGLIN MALL :D

My current favourite study date place :P

I've just realised that I'm putting a lot of smileys but who cares?

I'm feeling happy, excluding the uncomfortable position I'm in now while typing this post.

Uncomfy :S

Pfft.

Ohh, I just got babtised today (:

It was definitely an amazing experience. And I'm grateful that I'm now officially part of God's kingdom. Nothing beats this, even a billion dollars. But my journey is just about to start now. A journey with God will never be an easy one. Trials and tribulations will come my way and it will just sharpen me into a woman after God's own heart. I gotta manually control my plane so that I can land on the New Jerusalem safely and into my Abba's open arms. I can't wait for the day when m Abba will tell me, "My daughter, you've done well."

I guess I'm going with Deborah as my new name. Hehe.

Farewell for now!

A part of me yearns to continue this blog-human relationship for these few months have been so dear to me. I've grown attached to this technological invention of an online journal that is so amazing and phenomenal that I can't bear to bid my farewell to it. I love it and will always do.

However, it is best for us to part as we all know, it is the only way to a better future. For the both of us.

So now I shall cease to exist in this IT world for the good of humanity.

I hope you can feel my pain of separation.

As I've said;

See you after the O levels!

TANGLIN MALL

HELLO!

I have just reached home from a study date with BO!

I'm feeling so freaking darn HOT (pssst...) and HUNGRY.

We stayed at Tanglin Mall Starbucks from 10-ish to 4-ish? We hogged their power point to keep our laptop surviving during our 6 hours there. I spent 7-plus bucks on HOT CARAMEL MACCHIATO (yum!) and a stupid $4 chocolate muffin which I didn't eat. Maybe only the chocolate chips. What a rip off.

We did homework, ate, transfer songs and communicated. BO went to read twilight which she so dearly loved. I went to the toilet for a total of THREE TIMES for my bowel suffered quite a bit of complications today.

TANGLIN MALL IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE A STUDY DATE.

Here's a few reasons why:

1) Ah Lians, Bimbos, weird teenagers, troubled teenagers, loud aunties, EXTREMELY LOUD teenagers, Minahs... whatever u call annoying people.... DO NOT THRIVE AT THE AREA. The place is mainly filled with families (yes! happy families) and proffesional adults. There are teenagers but they're generally civilised like us. And there's quite a bit of angmohs there. A good change to the normal asian faces.

2) There are so many sofas!!! Comfortable.

3) It's a stone's throw away from Orchard but it is so PEACEFUL there.

YUP!

I'm extremely envious of Denise cuz she lives just opposite Tanglin Mall. And yea, Denise got the complete package. She lives near the BOTANIC GARDENS, BRITISH COUNCIL, TANGLIN MALL, THE GLENEAGLES HOSPITAL ad ORCHARD ROAD. What a privilege. You can actually imagine the add for her housing unit.

SCENE 1

Wife: OMG! HUSBAND! I THINK I'M HAVING CONTRACTIONS! (In Chinese)

Husband: OMG WIFE! LET'S WALK TO GLENEAGLES TO PUT U IN LABOUR! (In Chinese)

Wife: OH NO! WE CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH? HOW CAN WE TALK TO THE DOCTOR?

Husband: OH YEAH! LET'S GO TO BRITISH COUNCIL TO TAKE A ONE-YEAR COURSE
FIRST BEFORE YOU GO FOR LABOUR! (Still in Chinese)

Wife: BUT I'M HAVING CONTRACTIONS NOW! (Still in Chinese)

Husband: OH NO! (Swears in Chinese)

SCENE 2:

Doctor: WHAT'S GOING ON? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR WIFE? (Apparently the doctor can converse in Chinese)

Husband: SHE'S HAVING CONTRACTIONS!

Wife: GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME OR YOU'RE GONNA GET IT AT HOME YOU HUSBAND!

Husband: DOC YOU GOTTA HELP HER!

Doctor: OK. NURSE!!!! BRING HER TO THE LABOUR ROOM.

Nurse: YES DOCTOR!

Doctor: Oh yea, nurse, please get me a caramel macchiato from STARBUCKS at TANGLIN MALL? Venti please. *winks to the camera*

Nurse: A VENTI CARAMEL MACCHIATO RIGHT UP!

SCENE 3 (finale)

Wife: Oh husband! We have 10 kids at one go! What a surprise!

Husband: Oh no! How are we gonna bring them around?

Wife: It's ok! Botanic Gardens so nearby! We can put them in 10 cute strollers and stroll them
around BOTANIC GARDENS! *winks at the camera*

This is an extremely lame ad but it works come on! :P Met the task fulfillment and all. hehe.

Tanglin Mall's my current favourite hang out place. To study.

Oh yea. I'm falling in love with Jason Mraz's Butterfly. :P

HORMONESSSSS

I'm feeling a bit emo nowadays.

Sheesh. Just 20 days to prelims and my hormones are raging like torrential rains.

Dang.

I think artsy people are EXTREMELY HORMONAL. Specifically people who thrive in the English Language and the Humanities. There's so much hormonal imbalances in their system. It's like as if they took morning after pills out of pure fun.

And landed themselves in a rage of multiple emotions that can only be described as HORMONALLY EMOTIONAL.

Please do get yourself some hormone replacement pills to fix that prob of yours? It's getting a bit out of hand. And too unbearable to handle.

YOU'RE THE CAUSE OF MY EMO-NESS.

That said, I should be feeling better after they go for their therapy. (:

"

Anyway, I've decided to post some pics to make this blog a teeny bit livelier than it already is DEAD. (:

Observe that lip-smack on the paper!

Let's get a closer look!

The owner of the SEXAYE LIPS (moi). Haha.

I was bored of studying bio. So I did this to satisfy the hyperactive alter-ego in me. (:

My new cubicle

(apparently and supposedly to facilitate my learning by creating a more condusive environment to study. As you can see from my rancom mutterings in this blog, it has not been succesfuly :S)

Capuccino from Mc Cafe while studying with BO.
(that's BO's hands btw)

BUBBLEGUM!

THE LARGEST AND SWEETEST STRAWBERRY I'VE EVER EATEN, TOUCHED, SEEN, FELT, ADMIRED, LICKED, DIGESTED..... IN MY WHOLE LIFE.

And then I took a bite!

And another...

And it's gone! :S

Byebye strawberry!!!
(In BO's signature "STRAWBERRRYYYY" tone)

TOE NAIL *sobs*

Currently I'm feeling a deep sense of achievement for this is the day that marks the end of the strenuous tests this week.

REJOICE! Uh-huh! Oh yeahh!

I can play! And slack! And slack! And slack!\

(Dances the macarenna)

SUDDENLY...

The air became cold and heavy as I...

Realised that prelim's round the corner.

DANG!

That's life. Full of ups and downs.

More on the downs, though.

Oh, I'm currently into Katy Perry's songs. I know it's a teeny bit controversial. But you can't deny that her songs are catchy. (: "I kissed a girl and I liked it!"

Btw, I broke my toenail!!! Boohoo! But trust me, you don't wanna know what caused it. It's the most UNGLAMOROUS way to break your toenail. It's not like I was running for a race or kicked a paedophile as a form of heroic movement. I was merely running toward the prefects room and a part of my inner shoe got stuck in between my toe and toenail and ripped it off. My toenail is curently dangling from my toe, smothered with dry blood. Gross and unglam. Guess what? I was far from late. I WAS EARLY FOR PREFECTS MEETING. And my toenail broke. Hics. I guess I gotta wear a sandal tomorrow. Or maybe not.

Byebye black nail polish. Sobs.

Hmm... What else is there to talk about?

Umm...

Umm...

LALALALALA!

byebye.

(:

Haha.

My brother just said something funny.

Which gave me an idea to add on to it.

Anyway, it started when the both of us were watching the 930 news less than half an hour ago?

I know, THE NEWS? Yes, it's my brother's new thing. He LONGS TO WATCH THE NEWS TO BROADEN HIS NARROW VIEW ON THE WORLD. Yup.

And then we came to the news about the foggy and smoky air over Malaysia. Or was it Thailand?

Anyway, the new reported said that it is suspected that Singapore may experience from a case of haze anytime soon.

Ok, this is where the funny part starts.

My brother suddenly went, "National Day Parade, *hoff* (that noise a person in oxygen mask will make)."

Imagine if the haze happened during the NDP and the people who attended the NDP will probably hear this over the news;

"In lieu of the recent haze Singapore has been experiencing, the NDP committee has prepared a special gift for all the attendees of this spectacular event. Please open your NDP backpack and you'll find an oxygen mask together with a goggles. And wait! It's not the usual mask you see everyday. It comes with red lights that can flicker at your desired frequencies and strawberry scent. Enjoy!"

Okay. This one's a bit off. But yea. Just a thought that went through my head as my bro and I were watching the news. Anywho, I highly doubt the haze will come with so much precautionary measures done to prevent it. (:

:D

I seriously have no idea what to blog about.

How about school? But it's too depressing for me.

Life? It'll be too emo.

Food? I'll probably gain 10kg after this post.

Future? It's too uncertain.

Ah well. Let's talk about happy things. (:

Like...

Like...

Like...

I give up.

Right now I can't think of anything happy to write about.

Maybe just one thingg. :P

I just got my monthly pocket money a couple of minutes ago.

Wheeeee!

I'm rich again!

Wanna know the figures?

It is:
